Based in our classic guesthouse near Boltigen, we'll embark on three guided hikes to iconic locations, including the stunning turquoise Lake Oeschinen and the panoramic Schilthorn. Our journey combines thrilling mountain scenery with unique cultural experiences, from walks across suspension bridges to exploring a natural gorge, ensuring an incredible trip for all.

Accommodation:
Welcome to your home away from home! Our charming apartment is located in a classic Swiss guesthouse near the picturesque village of Boltigen. The house features five spacious bedrooms, each furnished with two comfortable single beds. Here, you will be immersed in authentic alpine living, with beautiful views of the valley from every window. The apartment provides a cosy and comfortable base for your adventures, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and a welcoming living area, perfect for unwinding after a day on the trails.

Getting There
We take care of all the transport in the country of destination (from and to the airport, as well as all the local transport), and you are free to choose your own way of getting to the meeting point, but please ensure your arrival and departure times match our pickup and drop-off schedule. This allows us to ensure a smooth transfer for the entire group.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to Zurich and transfer to Interlaken
Day: Your adventure begins with a flight to Zurich (ZRH), where your friendly Peak Expeditions guide will be waiting to greet you. From the airport, we’ll take a scenic two-hour drive to our charming chalet accommodation in the Interlaken area. This journey offers your first breathtaking views of the Swiss countryside and the towering Alps. Once we arrive, you’ll have time to settle into your room and take a moment to absorb the stunning surroundings.
Evening: We'll gather for a welcome briefing to introduce the week's itinerary and answer any questions. This is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow adventurers and share your excitement. Afterwards, you'll have the evening free to explore the surrounding area.
Day 2 – Lake Oeschinen Hike
Day: Today, we head to the stunning Lake Oeschinen for our first major hike. This 17 km journey showcases the Bernese Alps at their finest. Our trail winds through fragrant pine forests and across green alpine meadows. The highlight is the reveal of Lake Oeschinen itself—a magnificent turquoise gem surrounded by soaring peaks and glaciers. You'll have time to relax by the water's edge or dip your toes in the refreshingly cold water.

Evening: After a rewarding day of hiking, we'll return to our chalet. You can choose to cook a group meal in our fully-equipped kitchen or venture out to one of the many traditional Swiss eateries in the area.
Day 3 – Schilthorn Hike
Day: Get ready for an iconic Swiss experience! We journey to the summit of Schilthorn. The trail offers a steady ascent, and the effort is more than worth it. As we go up, the views become more and more spectacular, culminating in a 360-degree panorama from the top. You'll be standing face-to-face with the famous Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks.

Evening: After our descent, you’ll feel a satisfying sense of accomplishment. We’ll make our way back to the accommodation for a well-earned rest. This evening, we will enjoy a relaxed group dinner at the chalet, sharing stories and photos from our amazing day on the mountain.
Day 4 – Chrinnenhorn Hike
Day: Our final hiking day is a tranquil 15 km journey to the top of Chrinnenhorn. This hidden gem offers a peaceful alternative to more popular routes. We'll wander through quiet forests and along serene ridgelines, enjoying spectacular views that few tourists get to see. The atmosphere is one of peaceful reflection, providing a perfect farewell to the Swiss trails.

Evening: Our final evening together is a special one. We’ll head out for a celebratory dinner in a local restaurant, enjoying a taste of local Swiss cuisine. It's the perfect time to share our favourite memories from the trip, reflect on the incredible journey we’ve completed, and celebrate the bonds we’ve formed.
Day 5: Choleren Schlucht gorge, Zurich and Return
After a final, leisurely breakfast at our accommodation, we’ll have one last morning of exploration. We'll take a short drive to the exhilarating Hängebrücke Hostalden suspension bridge, offering a spectacular walk high above the ground with breathtaking views of the valley below. Following that, we will explore the stunning Cholerenschlucht Adelboden gorge, a true natural wonder carved by water over thousands of years. The cool air and the sound of the stream will provide a tranquil and memorable farewell.
The final drive back to Zurich is a chance to relax and enjoy one last look at the beautiful Swiss landscape. If time allows, we will take a leisurely stroll through Zurich itself, soaking up the city's unique atmosphere before heading to the airport. We’ll arrive in plenty of time for a smooth and stress-free departure.
